I'm kind of all over the place right. Three essays, four projects, too much reading. Two more weeks of regular class and then finals. I'm telling myself I can do it. I know I can. I have to. I just want so badly to get out of Boston and back home that it overwhelms me. I was almost at the verge of tears when Ali and Lindsey get this morning. I'm ready to get out of here and start a happy, new life. I have so much motivation but none at the same time. Wish me luck that these next 20 days go by fast. 20 more posts :)

My best friends are coming to stay with me for the Easter weekend! Ali and Lindsey go to NYU. We all went to high school together and we still talk on a weekly basis. I can't wait to see them. Photos to come...

The Royal Wedding is 9 days away and it's all I seem to hear about. So, I decided it would only be appropriate to blog about it. Prince William and Kate Middleton have been engaged for a few months now. They have known each other since freshman year of college and have broken up several times during the past few years. The frenzy about Kate Middleton reminds me of Princess Diana, who died a little later after I was born. Even though I wasn't alive during the majority of my life, I have always had this admiration for her.

I was thinking about a Canon Rebel...? I want to be able to document everything because I have no idea where I'll be this time next year. My sister, Elisa, carries her Canon everywhere...and it's come to good use - documenting everything from parties, vacations, family events. I think this would be worth it.

went to student health services today to figure out what was going on with my foot...turns out I have peroneal tendonitis. I have to ice it every 2-3 hours and take advil 3x/day. I'm also not allowed to do any rough (running, elliptical) cardio for 1-2 weeks. doctor orders. yeah, right.

I'm up early due to construction happening RIGHT next to our dorm room. Are we kidding?! There is some kind of hammering going on and since we are the corner room, the sound is really really loud. I'm meeting Vicky for breakfast, then some grocery shopping, then some vinyasa. I ate almost 4 bags of sunchips last night I am so disgusted with myself. I don't really understand why I do it. I don't wanna say I have a binging problem, but I don't know what else it is. I want to stop and I hope last night did my effect my progress to lose weight. Who knows. I need to find the willpower and find alternative ways to fulfill my late night cravings. Maybe, eating my meals later? Some tofu or yogurt in the fridge? I'll figure it out. I'm determined. If I'm working out hard, I should be able to treat my body right. I'm scared that I'll always struggle to accept my weight. I don't want to have this kind of eating disorder for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been doing some research and decided it's best that I write down what kind of foods I'm craving when I wanna go on a binge....

So I'm going to attempt writing in this atleast once a day. That might be pushing it. I tend to get lazy. But it's all about baby steps.

I'm really missing home today. I guess it's because I am making myself feel overwhelmed for no reason at all. I have all my work planned out, events planned out, plans planned out. But maybe that's why I'm stressing out - because everything in my life seems to be planned. Everything I do must be a routine. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to class, workout, eat, study, sleep. Every single day. Sometimes I wonder if that's the reason I'm so miserable here. But then I think I would probably be miserable without a schedule too. In the end, my misery is probably just from wanting to come home.

My best friend Aurora is visiting her prospective colleges this week. A few days ago, she visited Indiana University and she really liked it. She gives it a 8/10, which is quite promising for a college visit. Right now, she's at Oregon University. Connor goes there and he took them out last night. I'm still waiting to hear all about their night. I hope she will know soon where she wants to be. Watching people now make choices about their college makes me anxious. Maybe because for me my choice didn't work out as planned. I worry and don't want people that I care about to experience the same kind of ordeal as I have. I don't want anyone too. Everyday becomes a drag.

I have this weird thing for cute workout clothes right now. Motivation? I think yes.

I envy those people who can keep the same diary and write daily for years on end. Instead, I go from journal to journal, moleskine to moleskine, thinking and truly believing that it will be the last one I get. Atleast, until I finished it. The obvious realization that I spend a copious amount of time on my computer compelled me to finally give in and make a blogspot account. Maybe what kept me from doing this for so long was the looks or comments I'd receive from my friends. In all honesty, they will probably never read this. Nobody may ever read this. But I guess that's where the appealing aspect of journal keeping comes in - it's an allocated place where we can write whatever we feel, whenever we feel.

I think now is when I tell you the context of my life. I am a freshman at Boston University in Boston, MA. Born and raised in Southern California, I hate being 3000 miles away from home. As my first year comes to an end, I am looking forward to getting out of this bum of a town and getting back home to my friends and family. I don't know where I'm going to be in 5 years, but the important thing I hope to be is happy. I'm excited for the summer and I'm looking forward to being back to my old self, as corny as that sounds. Whether I end up in Korea for the rest of the year or spend time at home or go on the Nepal/India trip with Amber, I hope I can write and maintain my memories that are soon to come with this blog.

But truthfully, this may just turn out like every other journal I've attempted to keep. I guess only time can tell.
